About Me
As a therapist, my philosophy of counseling is rooted in a holistic, person-centered approach, drawing heavily from Humanism and Gestalt therapy. I believe that every individual has an inherent capacity for growth and self-actualization. The core of my practice centers on creating a compassionate, empathetic, and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their feelings, thoughts, and experiences. Humanism informs my belief in the importance of self-awareness, personal responsibility, and the pursuit of meaning in one's life. Gestalt therapy complements this by emphasizing present-moment awareness, focusing on how past experiences influence current thoughts and behaviors, and fostering integration of mind, body, and emotions. Ultimately, my goal is to empower clients to gain deeper self-understanding and develop healthier, more authentic ways of relating to themselves and others.
